Seit 2022 recherchiere ich zu meiner Familiengeschichte im Kontext von Shoah und Nationalsozialismus. Parallel zur Recherche begann ich eine schwarze, wuchernde Skulptur aus gebrauchten Kleidungsstücken zu häkeln, die seitdem immer weiter wächst. Die Skulptur zeigt meinen Aufarbeitungsprozess in textilem Material.
Die Informationen aus meiner Familienrecherche pflege ich fortlaufend in meine persönliche Datenbank ein. Die Datenbank visualisiert die Informationen in Graphen. Diese Graphen zeichne ich in mehreren Schichten übereinander, so dass sie zu einer diffusen Wolke werden.

I have been researching my family history in the context of the Shoah and National Socialism since 2022. Parallel to my research, I began to crochet a black, sprawling sculpture from used clothing, which has continued to grow ever since. The sculpture shows my process of coming to terms with my family history in textile material.
I continuously enter the information from my family research into my personal database. The database visualises the information in graphs. I drew these graphs in several layers on top of each other so that they become a diffuse cloud.
